Midwest Venture Capital for Life Sciences Grew in 2008

Following the trend of past years, venture capital investing in the Midwest in health care and life sciences grew in 2008. Private- and public-sector efforts to seed and nurture life sciences are generating greater investment both from within the Midwest and from outside, said Dan Broderick, president of the Mid-America Healthcare Investors Network.
